MCS Adopt-A-Beach and Beachwatch

MCS Adopt-a-Beach and MCS Beachwatch are coastal environmental initiatives organised by the Marine Conservation Society (MCS), involving local individuals, groups and communities in caring for their coastal environment.

The annual MCS Beachwatch event takes place on the 3rd weekend of September every year and the data collected is used for the annual MCS Beachwatch report. This years MCS Beachwatch event has now past but don't worry you can still get involved with the MCS Adopt-a-Beach project.

MCS Adopt-a-Beach extends the monitoring to 4 times a year. Click on the map on the right to see beaches adopted in your area

MCS Beachwatch Report 2007 Results Available Now!!
10th April 2008 - MCS publishes the Beachwatch Report during the Spring, following each Beachwatch event in September.
